The outdoor seating was not a great atmosphere. However, the Short Rib Ravioli was definitely a standout dish and very enjoyable. I also recommend the southwest creamed corn as a delicious side. The pheasant was okay, but at $23, it felt like expensive chicken. The sliders were disappointing and may have been better if they were served warm. The mac and cheese was dry and would have been better if it was creamier and warm. Overall, it was not our favorite dining experience. I would give it 2 stars for being not great and lower value.
We only dined indoors but were seated on the upper level. To our surprise, it was not as noisy as we had expected up there. The food was amazing, we managed to snag the last bacon plate. We ordered the Elk and Boar sausage with onions and special sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything we have tried at this restaurant has been a delightful treat and well worth the visit.
Brick and Bourbon never disappoints. Kayla and Grace provide a great experience. The Brussels sprouts and the shaved beef salad are by far my favorites on the menu. The bar selection is great and they can make a mean **** Mary.
A first visit to Brick Bourbon in Stillwater and will definitely be back. Food and drink were tasty. Tried the Shaved Beef Salad, side of Creamed Corn, and a crock of the Rueben Soup. Soup was piping hot like I like it and cheesy. We also had the Bacon Bourbon Flight which allowed us to sample various kinds. The Blackberry Smash was the highlight of the day. Our server was good and food came out with good timing. The only negative to our meal was the time we arrived. We came as they were switching brunch to lunch and had to wait about twenty minutes to be seated. They wouldn?t even seat us for a cocktail until we waited to order. Never had a restaurant do that. It was worth the wait though.
This is how our pricey cocktails were served at the table. A manager happened to check on us just as we received them. I inquired why our drinks appeared to have already been consumed. He explained that it was a 5oz pour. Another manager came over and offered to redo the drinks, but mentioned they would look the same. Beware of the skull-shaped ice, it is very solid. The waitress was delightful, and the food was decent. However, serving two bone-in ribs on top of mac and cheese was an odd choice. I am uncertain if I would return.
