Clark Lewie's Travelers Rest Saloon Grill

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. Our family loved the bison burger and fish and chips. The cod in the fish was freshly caught and delicious. The terrace had a beautiful view of the gorge and Columbia River.

We stopped by for a drink on a lovely afternoon. My wife tried the salmon appetizer, which was out of this world. We didn't have time to stay for dinner, but we already made plans to return when we're in Stevenson. The bloody marys were delicious and the staff was excellent.

Clark Lewie's is a charming restaurant located right by the Columbia River. The food is fantastic, the drinks are strong, and the staff is welcoming. You can't go wrong with a visit to this spot!

Very poor attitude by the blonde lady at the door, no attention for almost 5 minutes then finally came to the host stand and just said we are full. Not asking if we wanted to wait or how long it would possibly be to get a table. We had to ask her if we could leave our number to contact us when a table came available. She seemed mad and put out to even take down our number. When we asked how long it may take she just shrugged her and said no way to tell and just turned and waked away. We got back in our car and then my wife was so mad and upset at how she treated us. She said I will never go back into that place and we left. so take from it what you will.We later asked a couple local people if they had ever gone to the place and they both said once just. Not good food and terrible attitude from the hostess and servers. I don't think they care about the place or the people coming into the place.
