I was born in Sarajevo but raised Michigan for 20 years. My families favorite place for Burek. We always order 3+ full pies and you can freeze them for later! So good! Thank you for bringing a part of my childhood to my backyard!

Absolutely the best burek in the State of Michigan! This is small family restaurant. More like a dinner. They are serving fresh and inexpensive food from the Helm (ex Yugoslavia). I've been there couple of times. Always friendly staff. I recommend you try hot piece of burek (cheese or meat pie) along with glass of cold plain yogurt. My favorite.

God bless them! They are truly wonderful. They take time for each customer to listen and make sure that everyone leaves that place happy and with a full belly. Mr Dragu and his wife and their two daughters are wonderful people.

You go here to buy Burek. Buy meat and cheese variety. Great to dip in homemade yogurt( which is sour to most but just a little bit moistens the burek and makes it tastier). Used to have a hamtramck competitor but I forgot the the name. You can get frozen bureks for home as well. The burek pie is the best macedonian dish.

I LOVE this place! The owner is the nicest lady ever, and their meat burek is the most delicious! It just melts in your mouth! I drive all the way from Ann Arbor to get their burek and yogurt drink.
