Applebee's - Sterling Heights

We were really disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. It was 11 PM, and according to Google, they’re open until midnight. However, they refused to serve us when we mentioned that we only wanted drinks. This is completely unacceptable.

When we arrived, the place was bustling with children, and I honestly lost track of how many were in our party. The first waitress came over but seemed overwhelmed and quickly walked away. When I quietly asked about the wait, I was surprised to learn that the kitchen was short-staffed. Another staff member came over, and I mentioned that my son was turning 4 and that we had about 16 people, so I really needed someone patient and attentive. That’s when Lina, the true hero of our day, stepped in. I asked her if she could handle our large party, and she enthusiastically reassured me, saying she'd been doing this since forever. She took such great care of us and truly made the day special. We tipped her well, but honestly, no amount of money could express how grateful we were for her outstanding service. She was not only helpful but also incredibly nice and sweet. I could have chosen to celebrate somewhere else, but I picked this restaurant because it's one of my son's favorites, and they really made his day memorable. The staff went above and beyond, even providing the kids with an extra table to color. Thank you so much!

I love this restaurant. excellent American cuisine and even if we don't drink, we ask that a girl who is always at the bar because she is the best.

Food was ok but the service was something else. my waitress was gone so i ask one of the server with glasses if he could get my bill. dude straight up said “i’m not your waiter” and didn’t even bother said i’ll find your waitress and left so i end up sitting there for 10 minutes waiting for my bills to come while he just standing there doing nothing.
