Gasthof Kolbl

We had drinks here after a ride on the nearby summer toboggan run. The view of the lake was beautiful, one of the best we saw on Lake Ossiacher. Good service from the owner, but when we were there, they also had a waitress running around like a headless chicken. I guess she was new, drinking was great, so we went to the diner the other night. Terrace was crowded, but we just found a table. I would recommend reservations in summer because this seems a popular place. We had the pork roast and that was excellent! Accompanied with a beautiful salad, good frits and delicious garlic butter. Good quality meat, too. Our teens ordered the burger, but had some difficulty eating it because it was quite soggy so it fell apart quite quickly. The taste was good, but the food was chaotic. Good portions and cheap, I would recommend this restaurant! It promotes itself as it is: a good, simple and honest kitchen.

Try to escape the camping kitchen! Unfortunately, this inn seems to have closed and believe that it is now just a guest house called Neuhof Huber, which does not serve food! If someone can find the original restaurant, let us know!

Freundliches Personal, bodenständige Küche, moderate Preise. Der Ausblick vom Gastgarten ist wunderschön. Sommerrodlbahn ist gleich daneben.

Sehr freundlicher Service, und überaus gutes Essen. Eins der besten Cordon Bleus, bei einem tollen Ausblick über den Ossiacher See.Können das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
