Hafen-treff - Steinach

Location is amazing but when we went a few days ago (December 30th 2023), it was closed. We took a walk by the lake. Views were amazing.

Great location. The biggest criticism is the service. Been there a few times. Orders at the table are only taken late and after repeated requests. Preparation feels like it takes forever. Payment too. Food and dishes are ok but not special. For a small ice cream “to go”, okay.

Very bad service staff. We couldn't judge the kitchen, we didn't get that far... I think they don't need it!

Something small for in between, simple meals, uncomplicated and close to the lake

The staff could be praised for being so unfriendly that you have to be able to do that first. Craziness. Dispatched like that, cheeky answers, no German. The coffee was probably let out of the machine twice, so it wasn't a macchiato...
