Saddleback Ranch Horseback Rides Snowmobile Tours

This was one of the best experiences I had, the horses were so sweet and just amazing at what they do. We did the 2 hour trail with McCartney as our guide and she was awesome and shared some great knowledge about the horses and the ranch. We definitely recommend and will return.

It was a great family outing. Some of us were experienced riders while others were first-timers. The ride was enjoyable by all, and our guides, Mikaela and Kylie (sorry if misspelled), were so friendly and patient. They chatted with us and answered our questions, which added fun to our experience. Thanks for the fun!

My wife and I had a great ride. The ranch is spectacular with 8500 acres, running 2500 head of cows and 100 horses. There were at least four other groups out at the same time as we were and eWe didn’t even come close to them. Our wrangler was awesome and incredibly helpful. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved the snow tubing. Buy tickets in advance because the shuttle bus was completely full for our time slot. The shuttle bus will pick you up at Steamboat Square and take you to the Ranch which is 30 minutes away (and a gorgeous drive). They have four tubing runs, two green tracks, one blue, and one black. It doesn't take any more skill to do the black track, but the black track does have a couple of bumps so you're in the air briefly if you take this run. On the green tracks, you can link up with a buddy and slide down together. The tube lift is a nice relaxing ride up an ice chute, where you can just sit back and relax while enjoying some gorgeous views. In the two-hour session, there is plenty of time to go up and down the runs six or seven times, then use the bathroom and stop for a hot drink a couple times. There's a cabin which serves hot food and drinks (both cold and hot) and has clean restrooms, so you can take a break from tubing when needed. We enjoyed our time very much. We didn't try the snowmobiles or horseback riding, but loved the tubing.

We did a full day here at the ranch. We started early morning with a 3 hour snowmobile tour. Jared was our guide and he was a blast: so funny and witty. We had the most fun and the views were breathtaking. At midday we had lunch up at the tubing area and enjoyed our warm drinks with a large assortment of food. Some of our group embarked on the tubes and had so much fun. After lunch we saddled up for an 1.5 horseback trail ride. Our guides were Georgia and McCartney and they were lovely. They took great care with both our group and the beautiful horses. They were informative and kind. The views were beautiful and the ride was relaxing. I would highly recommend this place. Wonderful staff and views.
