Fish Creek Grill - Steamboat Springs

I went with some friends here to catch the NBA finals game 5 on a Saturday night. We sat at the bar and were greeted by one of the friendliest bar tenders I’ve ever met. Jesse took great care of us all night, and engaged with some great conversation the entire night. Extra props to him for skipping the Spongebob songs a group of kids put on the jukebox! He also makes some delicious drinks that helped us start a fun night in steamboat! We’ll be back!

We dinned in our first night in steamboat. Everything else took reservations and were full. We had kids with us and were a little nervous as we walked down the stairs. But we loved it and so did the kids. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was fun and no one cared if our kids were a little loud, and our server was attentive. We are wings, the rodeo burger, and the kids had meals all of it was really good.

When you enter, you go downstairs to a space that has a really cool and rustic vibe. There’s a huge bar with a good selection of liquors, and plenty of TVs, making it an ideal spot for catching a game. I would definitely recommend it for large groups, and it's very family-friendly too—with a little arcade in the back for the kids to enjoy!

The food was delicious—definitely the best wings in Steamboat, with an excellent variety of flavors to choose from. Our group tried several options: the Super Duper Hot had a fantastic flavor with a good level of spiciness, the Jamakin Jerk was close to authentic, and the Spicy Garlic Parmesan could have used a bit more sauce, but it was still flavorful. We also ordered a side Caesar salad, which was crisp and delightful, with very tasty croutons! One appetizer we had, which I can’t remember the name of, should really be considered a lunch entrée. It featured chicken coated in your choice of wing sauce (for an extra 50 cents, though that isn’t noted on the menu), served with lettuce, guacamole, and other toppings tucked into perfectly fried crunchy tortillas. A suggestion for the owners: consider providing crayons or some form of entertainment for kids, as we noticed a few families with young children during our visit.

This is a fantastic local restaurant and bar located right in downtown. The atmosphere is wonderful! We really enjoy heading downstairs from street level. The food was fresh, and the service was excellent. We will definitely come back again.
