Söl - Stavanger

A bit of pricy space also for Norway when you spend Matpake a person 1200nok. But the food was excellent, cozy atmosphere and the waitress, where very polite and professional presentation about each dish gave. Very beautiful experience

First experience of Norwegian cuisine and this small cozy place nailed it! All dishes were prepared with special attention to the environment, simple and tasty. Service is very friendly and everyone has an excellent work that explains the court. Given the average price of food in this country, it is extremely favourable. Very recommended.

Söl is an absolutely Top Five (5) in Stavanger. The three very dedicated and lovely owners, Nayana, Claes and Magnus, has created a place where everything is “knitted together” in a symphony of tasty and very elegant presented courses, an atmosphere of “relax, you’re home- we’ll take care of you” and all this in a very cozy yet cool restaurant. Six courses and the wine package for around USD100-110 is probably the best deal in town!

I love their course! Beautifully decorated dishes are so tasty, and combinations of different textures of the ingredients are enjoyable! Service was very nice and the staffs are nice and thoughtful. I felt serving time was a bit slow but it wasn't terribly bad. I will definitely come back.

Pictures bellow was part of 6 course tasting menu, I did include the wine package to my order, totally worth, servers were polite and knowledgeable about the food and wine they were serving. About price, I would say that is value for money, considering the atmosphere and the quality of the food. They do use local seasonal ingredients. Recommended.
