The staff is very rude to customers, both in person and over the phone. Avoid this place.

I stopped by on my way home from Delaware, and the outdoor dining setup was ideal for a leisurely afternoon meal. Watching the food go by made everything look incredible. The bakery caught my eye and seemed to have an amazing selection. The portion sizes are definitely generous! My husband and I tried the shrimp parmigiana, and I must say, the bread, sauce, and fresh mozzarella were some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The cappuccino was great as well. I took a few pictures of the pastries—they looked too tempting to resist. Next time I visit, I’ll definitely save room for dessert because the hero we ordered was enormous!

On a positive note, my dining companion enjoyed their sausage and peppers, and the service was attentive. Dining outdoors was quite comfortable, but the street noise—beyond their control—and the choice of music—within their control—were both distracting. I was also disappointed to find that they didn't offer gluten-free pasta, which limited my menu options. Overall, I don't see myself returning.

I NEVER write reviews but I felt like I have to after yesterday. I used to love this business but the last few times I've been there the counter girls in the deli/to go area have been EXTREMELY rude and nasty, and the food is just not the same as it used to be... definitely not worth the price. Went yesterday and had GLASS in my rice ball and was still charged since I ate half of it already. This was only after giving it another shot from having a bug in my salad the LAST time I was there... such a shame and a turn off. Don't plan on giving them business anymore.

This is so sad to say that the best sandwich shop on the island went straight into the shitter. For two sandwich rolls $38. Really? Then on top of that they FORGOT to put balsamic glaze in my bag and when I mention it the little **** rolls her eyes and says I 'm gonna have to charge you so whenever you decide on a size lmk like I won 't slap her from old town road to Kentucky. Crazy what they hire now a days. I miss the old royal. Save your money and their chicken taste like it 's been soaked in a mop bucket. Lost a valued customer.
