Da Noi - Staten Island

I used to be a regular at this restaurant when I lived on Staten Island. On a Friday evening, I made plans to meet up with friends for drinks while passing through Staten Island. They were attending an engagement dinner there, so my plan was to have drinks with them and order takeout. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find out that they did not offer bar service. I was informed that there was no bartender and no service at the bar. In the past, it was always lively and crowded at the bar, so we were all let down by this news.

We visited this restaurant last Monday and were pleased to find that they are open on Mondays. Our dining experience was superb! The kitchen even accommodated my Dad by making him a fettuccine alfredo dish, despite it not being on the menu. My mother thoroughly enjoyed her fish entree, and my son, who typically only orders chicken francaise whenever we dine out, finished every last bite. Our bottle of Ruffino Tan was reasonably priced, and my zabaglione dessert was delicious. Our server was excellent and very friendly. To top it off, my daughter brought home an order of polenta fritters. Overall, a fantastic dining experience - don't hesitate to give this place a try!

I loved the Authentic Italian restaurant, but I wish the waiter was Italian and could help us understand the Italian menu better.

Back in the day you could not get a seat at the bar which was always festive. Needless to say we were all disappointed.

Haven't been here in about five years, the staff is professional knowledgeable and friendly. The food is as we remembered. Enjoyed everything that was ordered. Looking forward to our next visit in the next month.
