Edgewood - Stateline

I've been in this restaurant for over 12 years, this is the best restaurant in Tahoe! Joe is one of my favorite waiters and he does an enormous task, his guests feel welcome and warm. Unfortunately at a certain point in the last 9 months since I last came here they were decided to start cocktails in these trashy martini glasses that I can only imagine poor buy at TJ max/Marshall?s. It definitely doesn't fit the atmosphere, the motive or the price tag of this restaurant. Worse any cocktail on the menu is served in this garbage. In addition, the steak knives are worthless and it is much easier to cut their $60 meat with butter knives. Management Feel free to contact me if you guys get rid of this garbage and I will gladly return to the corresponding 5 star review.

My friend and I are residents of the Edgewood Resort for the Thanksgiving weekend. The people we stay in are the nicest people I've ever met in the hospitality industry. However, Fredrick from the fine Dine restaurant called Edgewood Restaurant was the most rude and respectful person I've ever met in my life. We entered inside to take a look at the gift shop and also click some pictures of the lake from the window. He basically came to accompany us and was like you saw the lake from outside? Then he went on to open the doors and accompanied us when we told him that we only clicked on pictures and did not book dinner there. We were not even in the restaurant, but he accompanied us when we clicked pictures from the fireplace and continued to get us out. I told him we were guests at the lodge and saw them from the outside, but he always talked and kept us out. Bad. Should you learn from the staff at the lodge and reception and concierge!

We went on a 4000 mile road trip and this was one of the places I came across that was near to our hotel while I was planning the trip. All I knew of this place were the photographs, once while inside, the pictures did not do this place justice! We had an excellent time, food was good, waitstaff was awesome and the views alone are worth visiting.

5 star view, 2 star food. Was thrilled to try this place, but was mediocre, especially for the price. Bland and lack of creativity. For such a wonderful location it deserves so much better!

Great culinary experience and will definitely return on future trips to Lake Tahoe. If you appreciate good cooking, prices are very justified and the view from the restaurant itself is incomparable.
