Family went to bed early and I went down to the lobby to watch the Little League World Series. Lobby had two little areas set up with TVs in them, both of them empty (along with most of the lobby). I asked for the remote so I could watch the game and was lectured about how Hyatt doesn't allow that. The desk clerk reluctantly changed the channel for me. When I sat down and noticed the volume was muted I asked a different clerk if the volume could be turned up. Both he and I were lectured (the first clerk hadn't even heard my request) about Hyat's policy about TV remotes. So I paid over $300 night to have a clerk insult me. I would have left but the family was fast asleep. The main clerk needs some training in customer satisfaction. Hopefully he was jut having a bad night and this isn't a regular occurence.
Great Hotel, , Great Staff Clean and quite. Lobby AC Freezing, needs turned up 10 degrees, and location blows, have to park in stupid garage and had to pay out of pocket due to Hotel Computer Systems down three days. Not hotels fault. Stupid Comcast.
Very disappointed that the most expensive hotel in the area, does not have TV in your room. and the HVAC is extremely noisy and it is next to your bed. Staff did not help or did not know how to help..
The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast buffet was well beyond the typical offering. The location above Target is ideal for a parent moving a child into or out of Penn State.
