Remo's - Stamford

Remos is my absolute favorite pizza place in the world! Since moving to Norwalk, I have been searching for a pizza that even comes close to Remos, but I haven't found anything that even compares. Despite this, I make sure to satisfy my Remos craving at least once a week. I probably spend enough money there to become an honorary member by now. They should really consider having a rewards program to earn free pizza because of how much I frequent the place. The sauce on their pizza is incredible and it's what sets their pizza apart. Maybe they use water from NYC, which is rumored to be the secret ingredient in amazing pizza. Regardless, Remos definitely has the best pizza around. I absolutely love it!

If you are a person of color, I would not recommend dining here as they may treat you differently. However, the food, particularly the Margherita Pizza, is quite good. We only tried the large margarita pizza pie during our lunchtime visit. The service was lacking and the atmosphere was fair. The price per person is between $1-10. Overall, I would only recommend the Margherita Pizza from this establishment.

I have dined at Remo's on multiple occasions, but my recent visit was disappointing. I ordered the Penne Ala Vodka, unaware that it came with Bruschetta as the menu did not mention it. As a vegetarian, this was a problem for me and I had to discard the entire dish. I called to share my disappointment and suggested that they should list all ingredients in the dish. The staff member I spoke with was sympathetic and understanding, but I believe offering a new order without the bruschetta would have been a better solution to make up for the inconvenience.

I adore this restaurant, the food is incredibly tasty and authentic. The service is great, perfect for a sit-down dinner. The average price per person is $20-30.
