Great Wall - Stamford

I didn't know this Chinese place was there. I live in Stamford and usually go to bpt for my Chinese. I was over and wanted to try. I'm glad. Your chicken is so perfectly seasoned. And the pork bread was very good

Let me preface by saying that the portions are either decent or they are large. The plain lo mine had a strange taste and smell, somehow like a cinnamon cake. Not something I smell or taste, but it's nothing exaggerated. The sesame chicken and rice were well made and reminded me of the Chinese place my parents buy from. Would definitely buy again, and my dear mine doesn't remind me of a dessert.

This Chinese place is okay. The cheese dumplings were really good. The boneless short ribs and that lo mine were delicious. The roasted rice was okay. We have the orange chicken and the general Tsaos chicken If you want a “meat” or “crispy” chicken, this was not. The chicken was sponge when it makes sense, but it was decent.

Ordered food to the hotel down the block with explicit instructions to include a fork, knife, napkins. Of course they did not include any of them. Am I supposed to eat Chinese food with my fingers? Unacceptable. Food wasn’t terrible, but nothing spectacular.

Took back one of my stars used to be much better. I would have taken back another however their pandemic protocols are solid shower curtains block most of space. Fast service but quality of proteins not what it used to be....
