Wirtshaus Jagawirt - Stainz

The food was good, but the service bordered on the unfriendly. We asked where we could purchase the Schilcher Sekt they served as it was excellent and the answer was down the Road. We eventually found the place and it was delightful. Their name is Klug and apart from selling excellent Schilcher, they also sell a lovely chestnut honey and Kuerbiskernoel.Even so the food at the Jagawirt was good, I will not go back as there are many Restaurants near by with equally good food and friendly service.

Incredibly friendly hosts, were blown away that I would pop in for dinner from Graz. Food was great. I took whatever they had cooked that night which was soup and then for main meal a selection of cuts, like wild boar, a small piece of schnitzel and some knödel. Nice drive up, just regretted that I didn't go there earlier when there was still some sunlight.

Here everything is still very original and unfalsified. excellent steiric house culture, tasteful ambiente, as it fits into the shilcher region. The quality of meat and the processing of regional products is particularly important. from the main food to dessert, everything has tasted wonderful. we were quickly served in a friendly manner. the prices are somewhat higher than otherwise justified in this contrary, but given the quality offered.

I'm sorry, this one is a disappointment! the appetizer (beuschel and spring roll) the personal top as always. but the freshly offered pork it was certainly not! meat and supplements were served on the dish with which this food was heated. this was noticed by the cleanliness of the teller and the meat, and the same temperature had been added, the juice was absorbed by the dumplings and the meat was dried and unsightly. this should not happen in a house with this price level. pauli has fed it! should I be close again, only more freshly grilled or baked.
