Tea-cake - Staffordshire Moorlands

I stopped by for a hot chocolate and Colombian coffee served in a French press. As part of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, I also enjoyed a tea cake with butter and jam. The staff were friendly and attentive to COVID-19 safety measures. The service was efficient, and the drinks and food were excellent. I will definitely be visiting again.

The Tearooms are fantastic! The food is fresh and delicious. The gift shop has a wonderful selection of art and craftwork. The staff is friendly and pleasant.

Attended on a quiet midweek day hoping we could get a nice lunch. The food was okay but service was real poor. Had to get staff attention to place a order and then after ordering waited over 35 mins for a sandwich and crisps. It wasn’t busy so was surprised at how slow everything was. The young girl could hardly raise a smile and admitted they were short staffed and apologetic, but not a great experience.

My previous experiences at this restaurant have always been exceptional, with a consistently high standard. Unfortunately, today's visit did not live up to my expectations. There was a delay in serving our drinks, they were not hot, and one of the drinks even spilled into the saucer. That was the extent of our experience.

A lovely little tea shop hidden away in a quiet part of Leek. Great choice of gluten free sandwich fillings and toasties served with salad and crisps. Staff friendly and helpful. Some tables on the ground floor and others upstairs. Lovely gift shop also on the ground floor. Well worth the visit if you want a Gluten Free light lunch.
