Sainsbury's - Staffordshire Moorlands

Visited the store over Xmas but found it to be more expensive than Morrison's in Congleton ,and the staff all look very miserable ,spoke to member of staff called nicki who was not helpful at all ,come on smile if you don't want the job find someone else life is to short ,staff at Morrison's in Congleton are great totally the opposite very friendly ,will stick to Morrison's from now on .

Typical of a medium-sized Sainsbury's store, the bread can be a bit overcooked for my taste, but is fresh and good when it's not. I tend to avoid buying fruits and vegetables there as I find the quality to be lacking. I have witnessed moldy strawberries on the shelves more than once.

It would be great if the woman at the lottery kiosk had a better attitude. I think her name is Sue. Anyone who doesn't know her should be careful when being served by her. She was very rude, there was a long line forming but she was just chatting with a customer about personal things and then acted snotty when I mentioned that I was in a hurry. It felt like she thought it was a privilege to serve me. Another time, she snapped at a friend for having just over 5 items to scan, even though the person before had more items and was served without any issues. Overall, she has a really bad attitude for the job she does.

Good value for money food presented well always happy with service. A good selection of veggie meals and sandwiches appears popular with old and young alike

I was passing through the small town of Biddulph and decided to stop at the Sainsbury's store. I found the store to be very clean and well laid out for disabled individuals, which is a plus for me in these difficult times. However, I found the staff to be quite unhappy. I spoke to one employee named Nicki and received no help at all. They were rude both while I was browsing and at the checkout. Perhaps the staff could use a pick-me-up to improve their spirits as they all seemed down, but I understand that these are challenging times. Despite this, I would still consider stopping by again if passing through. Hoping for a brighter atmosphere next time.
