The counter was adorned with a selection of tempting homemade cakes, but we were there for breakfast. The owner, a friendly lady, welcomed us with a bright smile, sporting a festive hat like her young assistants. The local sausage and bacon were delicious, the fried egg perfectly cooked, and the black pudding was a generous slice. The coffee, sourced from Buxton roastery, was arguably the best in the county. All the staff members were pleasant young individuals with warm smiles. Overall, it was a delightful experience and I will definitely be returning soon!

We really enjoyed our Full English breakfast at this restaurant. We appreciated being able to choose exactly what items we wanted. The service was excellent, with friendly and accommodating staff. The bacon, sausages, black pudding, and eggs were all top quality, and the tea served in a mug was a nice touch. We also bought a cake and scotch egg to enjoy later, both of which were delicious. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning soon.

Website says open at 8, made the effort to get there at 8 but closed. Gave up at eight thirty and went somewhere else. Tried again later in the week and it was open but staff were disinterested and pig-ignorant. Left without eating so can’t comment on the food. If you don’t like dealing with the public don’t run a cafe.

The worst rude experience I've ever had in a cafe.The woman were so unhelpfull and rude.The atmosphere was horrendous. PLEASE Dont even try it....

We stopped at this restaurant for tea and cake on our way back from Stoke. Despite the miserable weather outside, the warmth of the place and the quality of the drinks and cakes (fresh and moist) more than made up for it. The restaurant is dog friendly and one of the staff even gave my dog a treat. We plan on returning for a meal next time. I regretted that we had already eaten before arriving, as they had some delicious looking items on the menu and display counter.
