Always come here on our bikes. Giant tea cakes are the best. Come early as they run out. Sad when they do.
Great traditional cafe restaurant with an exceptionally warm and family friendly style, great home cooked food and snacks, perfect!
We visited Lock House, not far from the Trent Mersey Canal towpath. What we encountered was truly a picturesque setting. There's clearly a café, but it wasn't open to the public yet.
I had lunch here after a walk from Shugborough Estate. The homemade steak pie was excellent, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and also provided great recommendations.
