Umi Japanese Cuisine - Stafford

This has been one of our regular places to go as a family for years, but after the way the staff acted the last two times we won’t be going anymore. We are a family of six and they’ve tried to sit us at a very small booth for four the last two times we came. When we said we didn’t think we’d fit, we were begrudgingly taken to a bigger table. Then after hearing the waitresses talk about us, our waitress came over and said you only have six? Then as we were leaving another waitress was talking badly about us again. It’s just a shame and so unnecessary, especially when the restaurant was so slow both times. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The place was busy when we got there but the wait wasn’t long. We got seated in the sushi bar and the service was great. Everything tasted amazing and it came out quickly. Will go again. Went again and this time we went around lunch time and it was not busy, but the food came out in sections. The fried rice took about 10 mins to come out after the rest of the family had they’re food, and it didn’t have much flavor. The ramen also took about 10 mins but it did have good flavor.
