Eating is good, but the 1 star rating is for the trickery she pulled on our bill when it came to pay time. our server pulled an old trick in the restaurant industry, where they take their bill to the 18% tip and print the subtitle quittung, which leaves the tip open, in the hope that the customer would leave a carry on the already contained tipp. Of course, this is ultimately my fault to fall and I can only be so angry. Just note that this will do with their bill when they dive. they've been busy with the bottomers. do not support this business if they continue to allow it.
Time together. 50 % capacity. large clean pretty restaurant. only 5 tables occupied Sunday brunch with 1 waiter. he tried to be fast and efficient. eating took a long time to get out, typical 1-2 dishes at a time. but I don't complain bc I understand that it is kovid and with business slow and limited, personal is limited. menu was extensive, good selection. they give them a paper menu and a picture menu - I like to see what I ordered. the amount was good. it was not processed and freshened. the suppenknödel are good and very hot! I burned my throat and tried to swallow the whole stupid idea. it's still a bit delicate as I write. the salt pepper fried garnelen ha kakao is everything. the garnel rolls are very muddy, but it melts in their mouth, which I surprisingly enjoyed. the Chinese brokkoli is good, no oyster sauce dip, but it is well seasoned. they don't leave a spicy, but they'll take it out on small sauce dishes. the crabs are good, the outside is crispy, inside is hot with fresh garnel and crumbs. and they are $4.99 against $6.99 for 2 balls at kim sohn. consistent is mushier than the processed crabs prawns we had at kim sohn. great food, great prices.
Regal has a higher class of Chinese foods. I use to travel to toronto for better Chinese cuisine. regal has it now in houston. edmin, the owner has always better and new dishes to serve us. but they must be ready to pay the price. regals high-quality eating is not the same as other Chinese restaurants in chinatown.
Ok let's start off with no1 being in the restaurant. Ordered dim sum then a entree that was suppose to be served with steamed rice I thought. Didn't get rice even after asking for it n my 5 yr old was eating with her hands cuz she wasn't given utensils. Dim sum isn't anything special. Soup dumplings didn't even have soup in it! Tasted like a miniature banh bao but 5th the size. The rest of the dim sum wasn't up to par. I only came here cuz my mom wanted to try it out n she didn't even eat much of the dim sum. Spent $60 n wasn't near satisfied. I wouldn't come back
