I am quite the fan of Mr. Zippy's! Around Christmas I bought a home water cooler like those many have in their break rooms, though I did very little research around getting bottles filled or replacements. I had seen the Glacier Machine at Kroger, and knew that the Albertson's had Primo water (the brand of my machine so I knew it would be a okay. To start, I snagged 3 Primo bottles from Albertsons. Great water, of course. It fit my machine perfectly, but they were about $13 a piece (5 gallon jugs like in my pics . A bit cheaper than the cases I was buying per ounce, not to mention that they achieved my goal of reducing refuse, but still seemed like. A pretty big bite. I noticed that the exchange of bottles cut the price down to $6.99 a piece. As the panic buying began I went to exchange my refills and I couldn't get any at all. So, I reluctantly went to the Glacier machine. You know, those ones that never take a card despite having a reader and touts .40 a gallon? I only filled one. Regrets! The water was gross, but I got what I paid for, I guess. After that, I found Mr. Zippy's. It's $1.75 for 5 gallons, and the water tastes great! You can fill anything here from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon, and the place is very VERY clean. It's attached to the Car Wash, and the Wash N' Wag, but it's so clean you can forget those things are there. They don't take cards, but the car wash has bill changers. Just an FYI the water comes out room temp, but wonderful nonetheless. Also, you have to bring your own lids. You can get reusable lids on Amazon, just make sure you have them because it will fill your bottles up to the top! They don't sell any here. It also uses the municipal supply, and applies the same filtration process that many purified water plants use, making it fluoride free, so you won't show up to an empty machine. If you are thinking about getting one of these home cooler machines for your place, do it! It will really help you meet your water quotas for the day, and will save many MANY water bottles. They retail for anywhere between $60 and $250, but I snagged my Primo brand home water cooler on LetGo for $40 (retail $160. If you need a car wash, a vacuum, a dog wash or some water for your home cooler, you have come to the right place!
