Gus' Deli - Stafford

This place is a hidden gem. I'm so glad there's a Murphy's Deli in the area. The people who work here are very friendly and hospitable, and the food tastes fresh. If you're in the Stafford area and want a great sandwich, check out this spot.

Great place, the menu is easy with very affordable prices. They offer sandwiches, subs, wraps, paninis, gyros and salads. Chips and fresh fruit cups as optional sides. The chicken Caesar packaging was large and delicious. The tables and floors were clean. The staff is very friendly and easy. I bought a chicken sluice, side fertilizer and well drink for $15. Free refills on the well drinks, bottled and drinks are also available. The majority of customers are elderly, so it is a quiet place to eat. Many open seating during lunch. The parking lot is not very large, but a lot of business is done so that you don't wait long to open a room.

Salad was warm. The chicken was preboiled and microwaved. Pickle was homemade but old and had a white film on Baggie. The best thing that was bought was the chips bag.

When you go to Murphy's you gotta have a Muffaletta!

Amazing food and great value. Would be criminal to go to any chain deli. Hard to find anything hand-made anymore these days. A hidden Houston treasure.
