Portofino Italian - St. Petersburg

We came here on Mother’s day weekend. As soon as we stepped out of the car the smell of garlic was amazing! We had a small wait time of 10 min. The staff here really hustles to make your experience here nice! Our waiter Henry was AMAZING!! He kept our drinks full and checked up on us often!!! The food was delicious it did not disappoint!! The portions were huge!! Definitely coming again!

Hidden gem. Bruschetta was on point, very authentic. Anti pasta salad was huge for a 1/2 order. Meat calzone was huge and tasty. Chicken Francaise (sp) was fantastic. Oh, let's not forget the hot bread oil to start. Only thing negative I have to say about anything is the sangria. Don't order it. Will travel to south Pinellas again for this place.

New dining room layout and new menu (for me, haven't gotten out much lately) but still my old favorites. My hot sandwich was delicious. My companion had that days special and he said it was delicious. Great place for lunch.

Excellent service and price is reasonable. This dishes are very good so as the pizza. yum...

Very disappointed!!! Quality of food has gone down hill!! Received under cooked frozen/pre-made food! Or Best! Charged $40 for pre-made tricolor tortellini $5) sauce $17). Manicotti w/frozen spinach undercooked $17/18). Came with 2 sorry side salads pre-made with dressing ots and 1 loaf of bread wrapped in foil, not even warm. VERY SORRY TO SAY.... have had better in a cafeteria for 75% less $10). Have always recommended Portofinos to family, friends and people visiting the area. Unfortunately after this last experience, I can no longer do that and will most likely not be back!
