Bayou Catering - St. Petersburg

This past weekend, we hosted a culinary experience at our home and hired David from Bayou catering. David exceeded our expectations! As a New Orleans native, I have high standards when it comes to Cajun cuisine, and David delivered with fresh seafood from Louisiana cooked in our backyard. The gumbo and jambalaya were exceptional, on par with the best restaurants in New Orleans. David even shucked oysters just like they do at Drago's at home. His lovely assistant helped make the event memorable and special for all of us. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be working with David and Bayou catering again for future events - it may just become an annual tradition!

Bayou Catering is truly outstanding. We hosted a dinner party for 12 guests in St. Pete and the food was exceptional. Standout dishes included the Gouda mac and cheese, the chicken etouffee, the chicken and sausage gumbo, and the bourbon bread pudding. Everything was delivered hot and ready on Saturday. The owner, David, was very welcoming and the prices were fair. Our guests had nothing but praise for the meal. We will definitely be ordering from them again!

Ordered Gumbo and cornbread for my husband's surprise 50th party. Was coordinating everything for the party we were having in St Pete from NY where we live. I was very nervous because my husband's family is from Louisiana and has high standards for Gumbo David and his team did not disappoint. Ordering from afar was simple and they were there for all my questions. Food was ready on time and everyone RAVED about it. Truly knocked it out of the park. Can't wait to order again for our next visit!
