The pad Thai, Panang, red curry, M80 Sushi were all fantastic. I do not live near enough to come here often, but it has inspired to try to find similar cuisine closer to home.
This place is a local classic that has been in downtown Bangkok for many years is THE BEST Thai restaurant in the castle. St. Pete continues to grow and more restaurants are getting up, nothing has the charm and the most delicious curries like Bangkok. Not only is the food all fresh and tasty, you are pleasantly greeted at the door with smiling faces. My friend and I love the red duck curry special, pictured here. It has crispy duck, fresh, savory veggies and a hint of sweetness from pineapple and grapes. My mouth only pours on it. Please visit us? new to the city or visit and a weekly stack if you?
Thai tea was good. The shrimp pad Thai was sweet, which was unexpected. I had ordered without peanuts, but the server brought with peanuts then got it changed quickly. My portion size was good, but my friend had ordered another noodle dish and the portion size was like a child meal. I'm probably not going back there.
We passed because we starve. Surprisingly, the restaurant was very good. The sushi is not cheep, but this is good for the quality you get. We had red curry and a noodle dish. Both dishes where great! As an appetizer we had some sort of sushi and that was fantastic. For the restaurant!
This place is a gem. While it may not look fancy on the outside, take a look inside. It is a small beautiful location! The sushi is great and happens to be one of the first locations where sushi taste: so fresh it doesn?t have even a hint of a fishy smell. We we?re surprised to see the sushi presented on a ship. A fun surprise!
