The quality of the food at this restaurant is still excellent, however, I have noticed that the portion sizes have been decreasing with each order. My favorite dish, the asada fries, used to come in a generous portion that I could not finish in one sitting, but now it is barely enough to satisfy my hunger. It appears that the restaurant is reducing portion sizes in order to increase their profits.
After a car ride, the tacos may not be as crispy, but they are incredibly flavorful. These are by far the best quesabirrias I have ever had delivered in the area. The green sauce is also amazing, with just the right amount of spice – somewhere between mild and moderate.
I recently tried a taco at this restaurant, and it was pretty good, but a bit dry. The soy curl had a good taste and a firmer texture that I liked, but it also contributed to the dryness of the tacos, making it difficult to finish. I wish they had included salsa in the to-go bag, but I had to ask for it separately. I was pleasantly surprised that they used homemade soy curls instead of processed meat. Ordering online was a bit challenging, as only the tacos had the option for soy curls, and the burritos had their own meat options. I would have liked to try a soy burrito, so I will have to call ahead and inquire about that. Overall, my experience was not bad, although seating was limited to outdoor benches.
The tacos are great and I really enjoy the variety of hot sauces available. The vegan burger is also delicious, but I find myself gravitating towards the tacos more often.
