Victory Inn - St Mawes

This is an excellent small pub with a lovely dining experience. We started with appetizers of whitebait, calamari, and onion rings, and then I had the seafood curry and scampi. It was well worth it!

I can't comment on the food since I haven't eaten there yet, but I want to highlight how wonderful the owners and staff are. They are incredibly accommodating and nothing seems to faze this amazing team! I found myself in a last-minute situation needing to store some wedding flowers overnight around 10 PM. When I arrived, the wedding celebration had already concluded, so I enjoyed a nicely chilled glass of wine while I contemplated my dilemma. I asked the kind bartender if there was a cold storage room available. Without hesitation, she kindly responded that there wasn't, but offered access to the cellar instead. I can't thank them enough for being such a lifesaver in my time of need, and I definitely plan to return to try the food I missed!
