Texas Roadhouse - St. Matthews

Sorry! I didn't take pictures this time! My husband and I had a late lunch/early dinner. I normally prefer ribeye steak, but we both ordered the 6oz sirloin because it was included in the early dine deal! I LOVE a good steak! Texas roadhouse is usually the only place I will order steak if we go out. This visit was a disappointment. My steak was very stringy and tough (enough that I didn't finish the last few bites). My husband said his steak was good. He ordered the loaded sweet potato, and it came out at room temperature. The marshmallows were not even melted. We did not complain to the waitress, because I'm not like that and don't know what happens when the food leaves the table. The service was ok, not anything extra. The atmosphere was as usual and expected.

Had to wait a few minutes to be seated as they were pretty crowded. Our Server (Jerry, I think), was very attentive and helpful despite how busy it was. We enjoyed our meal very much. The food was cooked perfectly, presented well and was perfect temperature wise.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, infinitely better service than longhorn steakhouse and our server was on her game! Food was fast and perfectly cooked!

Speed and quality of service is great. They make good drinks, and the rolls are incredible. Usually the food is solid, but this last experience was not good. The steak was extremely tough, overcooked and dry after ordering medium rare, and the ribs were cold. Not lukewarm, literally room temperature cold. Sides were decent, and I have had better experiences in the past, as well as the rolls redeem it.

Not as good as it usually is. Sweet potato was warm, not hot. Steak was cooked correctly and had a good server.
