Wing Hing Chop Suey - St. Louis

This place is truly a hidden gem of mine. This Chinese restaurant has been around for what feels like forever. If you're not familiar with Henry, then you're probably not from St. Louis—he's the one who answers the phone! I ordered the duck fried rice, a duck leg, and a side of crab Rangoon, along with the local favorite, Vess soda. It was definitely worth the money. Don’t let the neighborhood deter you; if you want to avoid the crowds, it's best to go early—catch them when they’re just opening and not too many people are ordering, like on a Monday! You won’t regret it. This Chinese food is consistently the best!

This is my favorite place! I've been coming here since I attended Beaumont High School. Now my kids bring their families, and I take my grandkids here too.

I grew up eating from this restaurant, and I still make the drive to get their fried rice—it's the best in St. Louis!

I’ve tasted the Special Lo Mein, several fried rice options, duck and noodles, and St. Paul sandwiches, and I’ve loved every single dish. However, what truly keeps me coming back are the crab rangoon and egg rolls. I’ve visited many Chinese restaurants, but none can compare to this one. Visitors from out of town often rave about STL Chinamen, and they consistently choose this restaurant. I’ve been coming here since childhood, and at 22 years old, I plan to keep coming until they shut their doors. Henry always takes great care of us!

Henry's is exceptional! I travel all the way from Southside County just to indulge in their fried rice. This is truly how fried rice should taste!
