The Dark Room The Grandel - St. Louis

This is a lovely place to relax with a drink while enjoying some jazz music. The ambiance is fantastic. However, the food could use some improvement. The boneless wings were tasty, but the steak didn’t offer great value, and the fries were disappointingly not crispy at all.

I always appreciate the music at this place, and they make sure to cater to diners as well, not just those looking to drink.

The food was tasty and the service was satisfactory. The restaurant filled up quickly, and it seemed our server was a bit overwhelmed. While she wasn't exceptionally friendly, she was certainly not unfriendly either. The jazz trio played quite loudly for the time of night and considering the number of diners present.

Not good food was boring and tasteless; service was mediocre; menu selection was far less than what was shown on line; piano was great but loud
