Steak 'n Shake - St. Louis

On a positive note, the customer service was good; there was a young man who was very attentive. Our food was served hot—nothing was cold, which was great. I was surprised that they only forgot my son’s fries. We waited for someone to come out to resolve it, but there were three cars ahead of us in line. The prices were reasonable; I think three meals with drinks cost around $28. Overall, it was a decent experience, aside from the missing fries.

The restaurant is not the same as it was before they closed and then reopened. The food has too much fat.

I drove by around 6 PM, and there was no one in line. After sitting in the drive-thru for about 5 minutes, a girl finally came to the speaker and said they were closed, except for takeout orders. What? They really should have a sign saying they're open until 11 PM. Very disappointing customer service.

Came at to pick up a door dash order and there wasn't a soul in sight. I went through drive thru and honked horn but got nothing. It was 11pm and store states it closes at 12am...

I really wish they would close this location back down because their service is absolutely terrible and I hope that anybody that reads these reviews definitely calls in on this store each and every single day because for whatever reason they never have any shakes or chili at this store I hate to see people without a job but this place really puts the name steak and shake in a terrible position I am going to call in on this store each and every day I will also go as forward to call the health department on them I'm not going to stop until this location is completely closed again
