Los Chavez - St. Louis

I had never had bad Mexican food until I went to this restaurant! The service was good, our server was nice and polite but the food was so bad! We ordered a quesadilla. It was ok but it's hard to mess up a quesadilla. The guacamole was so bland, it needed salt. For entrees We ordered the chicken Chimichanga with rice.. the rice was bland and had no flavor. The chimichanga itself was awful, the chicken had so much salt. I don't know what it was but i have never had such a bad chimichanga in my life! I had 2 bites and had to put the plate away. My daughter ordered a beef chimichanga, the beef was so greasy, all you could taste was the grease. Taco Bell does a better job at Mexican than this place. They were very nice about taking the entrees out of our bill and asked if we wanted something else but after eating the chimichangas we knew that the food was just bad and loss our appetite.

Love getting taco's to go here. Fast and yummy. Julie the owner is very personable.

The food was good, not that great. It's not the mexican resto that you feel like the ONE that you'll go back to whenever you crave mexican food. In other words it's forgettable. Nothing from what we ate really stepped up to our taste. But I would say of all the Mexican resto that I've been this one has the friendliest and the most accommodating waitresses. If it's all service I would rate it a perfect 5.

The chicken chimichanga tasted like..canned chicken and I didn't end up eating my order. Bad bad, however the wings were alright

The outside looks a little rough, but This place is a hidden gem! Clean, friendly service. Great prices, good food and great house margaritas specials. Their chips and salsa are the BEST in the area! They use a yellow cheese instead of white queso, but with so many of the Mexican restaurants in the area being so similar, it was nice to have something s bit different. If you want a quick, cheap, tasty taco margarita, then check thus place out!
