Hi-pointe Drive-in - St. Louis

Me and my Wife both had the Cowboy burger and it was great! I ordered the sweet potato tots and they were ok just a little too greasy for me. The service and overall dining experience was great. The Tennessee Tea (alcoholic) beverage was ??? too!

I adore Hi-Point and I goto the one on McCausland almost once a week. I brought my family to this location since the baseball game was walking distance and was hyping up the awesome milkshakes that they always have. Especially with the Oreo ones.They brought out a little plastic cup that looked like something I’d get for $3 at Wendy’s with a squirt of whipped cream on top(they ran out).This location is great if you’re in a pinch for food. But I wouldn’t ever buy or recommend anyone the milk shakes here. Definitely feel like I wasted my money.

Reasonably priced food. Above average burgers that would be better if cooked with a little less fat. Shakes are amazing. Try the strawberry shortcake shake. It's truly the best on the menu and you won't be disappointed.

This is a great spot for a classic diner style burger in downtown, and less expensive than Bailey's Range. The fries always hit the spot for my SO and my personal favorite from the menu is the frisco melt and mac cheese. The milkshakes are decent, but nothing to write home about. The decor inside is like a weed-themed comic book. Only qualm is that it usually takes forever....20 minutes plus.... to get a basic burger and fries to go, even when the place isn't busy. It's certainly worth a try if you're on Wash Ave.

Extremely disappointed with this location. I had high hopes for a great burger and shakes but was underwhelmed from the moment we walked in. The guy taking our order was very unprofessional and rolled his eyes several times. Was not friendly and we felt rushed as we ordered. He even whispered something rude about his boss as his boss walked away. The food was just okay. Nothing I would ever want to return for. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing. Just okay. We were finished with our meal when my kids finally got the shakes that we ordered. Still, nothing special. The chocolate one wasn’t even mixed. For $65 dollars I expected it to be better. Total disappointment. Next time I’ll go with a chain restaurant like Steak ‘n Shake.
