Small Batch - St Louis

Note that this is a vegetarian restaurant and not everything is vegan. they use cheese in some of their dishes. the place is amazing!

My friend brought me here for a 15-year anniversary. we were both blown away. eating, service, atmosphere. so many vegan options!

I loved the mood here. cocktails were good and unique. I had the rigatoni alla norma and the cream brulee.

The dinge range from ok to bad. for example, the brownie I had was tragic. the gf pancakes were ok. they lacked the buttery magie that should have pancakes (as with treehouse.) the menu has changed so that I would be willing to give them another try. Hopefully, they improved the taste and quality.

We are traveling to see family and Dan’s nephew took us here for dinner. Wow. The whiskey and mixed drinks were great, but the food was the star attraction. We started either the miso white bean dip and the tempura cauliflower. Then Dan had them substitute rice noodles for the bucatini pasta and had it covered with a sage and pumpkin seed pesto. I had the Country Captain with chickpeas, cauliflower, etc. Divine! Only wished I had room for dessert at the end.
