I parked closer to the area and paid $20 for parking. It was a short distant walk. We then walked through the metal detector and purse check. Then someone scanned our tickets. We went to find our seats which were nearby. The Food area was so close by to our seats so it was very convenient. I was shocked it was not busy at this time in the evening on Monday 08/26/24.
Cheap seats purchased on one of the ticket hub sites because this was a rescheduled game that had been postponed earlier in the season. I got an AMAZING seat for less than $17 with fees front row of the first tier. And because this was an afternoon game, I picked seats where I would not be sitting in the sun. Busch is relatively new and quite modern. I found the seats to be quite comfortable and there are a bunch of different options for concessions. I stuck to the usual hot dog and beer, which was of course not inexpensive but that's tradition. Plenty of rest rooms even during the break between innings. Did the Cardinals win? Not today, they were getting beaten badly by the visiting team. But it was still a fun time for me! [Review 1742 of 2024 378 in Missouri 22765 overall]
Who doesn't love a good ball game?! Depending on your seats, they are nice and cushioned. The sections can be confusing at first, but there are plenty of friendly stadium staff available to answer any questions. Lots of food and drink options around and you'll pay an expensive price for it. They have a lot of souvenir items that come with your food and drinks, too, for the ball game experience. Parking is a mess. You'll have 1 spot with $40 parking, then 200 feet away, $30 parking, then $25. The good thing is, you'll do a lot of sightseeing no matter how close or far you decide to walk. The stadium is amazing and we have a good time every visit.
Busch Stadium is a great place to have a concert. Especially when it's two giants like Sting and Billy Joel. Rained out on Friday night and rescheduled for Sunday evening, the place was packed. Great food options and drinks. This may have been the biggest crowd all summer at Busch. The music was so good! Sting sounded as amazing as ever and sang a string of his hits from the Police to his solo career. Of course Billy Joel sang over 2 hours of his hits with one being a jazzy number with Sting singing. It was one of the best concerts I've been to in a while. Don't know if we will see two musicians of this caliber again on stage. What a treat!!!
Visited the stadium for a game (Go Cardinals! and absolutely had to try the food! Items are made to order and served on plastic plates and in paper boxes. Ordered the bacon wrapped hot dog, bratwurst with fries and cheese nachos. The bratwurst hit the spot nicely caramelized, and well paired with the sweet/sour sauerkraut. I loved the fries! Crisp exterior, tossed with a hint of ?truffle oil. On to the less fun dish, the bacon/wrapped hot dog. I love a good bun, and this ...was not that. There was a stark difference in the dough and baking between the hotdog bun and the bratwurst bun. Nachos were a salty, cheesy hit, easy to down between innings. The next time you're out there to catch a game, try the bratwurst!
