Soul Azteka - St. John's

I've been here a few times to sit in and have also taken away multiple times and I am in love with the pork carnitas. It's true that the restaurant is in a bit of an older building but the owners have made vast improvements...already and with time I am sure it will only get better and better! I really like 'Taco Tuesday' as the tacos are smaller sized than regular tacos so you can eat more of a variety of tacos without getting too full! The tortilla chips, salsa and guac are highly addicting (sooo good and the tacos are usually awesome. I didn't enjoy my meal as much as usual when I ate there last night as the quality didn't seem to be there. The tortillas were almost dried out and so was a lot of the meat, and the fish was unfortunately overcooked in our fish tacos. A real shame as I had invited my mom along and it was her first time, but luckily I know how good they usually are and this was a one off, just not the usual quality. This will not prohibit me from coming and trying again however, and I did appreciate that I was served an additional taco when the pineapple was accidentally left off of the Al Pastor that I ordered. The owners are very hard working and their whole family is involved in the restaurant! Very nice to have some authentic Mexican cuisine in our city Thank you for what you do and I look forward to having some of your food at the Farmer's Market tonight! :

The food was authentic and the service was fantastic. Obviously family owned and run which I am all about. Tacos are small, but the gringa’s were huge. Guac, salsa and hot sauce are a must!

Went for Taco's on cheap day and it was excellent. Very tasty and the restaurant was cool too. Would have been fine paying regular price for them Taco's but bucks was excellent

We went to Soul Azteka for Taco Tuesday and it was delicious. We loved the food service was fast considering they were blocked, If you're looking for something filling, flavorful and inexpensive, you've found it here
