Branca - St. John Fisher College

Everything was excellent. But the hostess we all in our party felt she was not dressed appropriate. Very low cut top and those holes in the jeans. Not a pleasant look for a hostess in a nice restaurant.

Food was very good. We had several different starters and all were delicious. The salmon was beautifully seared and was served with a perfectly paired sauce. The branzino, a mild white fish, was excellent. We didn't sample any desserts so I can't speak to them, but I would definitely recommend and return to the restaurant.

Food was not good, service was not altogether friendly. It used to be a great restaurant, but no longer. We will not return.

Frito misto was excellent with veggies and not just calamari. Gluten free pasta was over cooked but appreciate having that option. Friend said tagliatelle was excellent and she lived the coffee cardamom gelato for birthday celebration. Not crowded on Monday night. Happily will go again.

First time. I would try Branca again, but not running back. Complimentary bread yummy. Service great. Lasagna delish. Pizza was a bit soggy in the center so could not pick up a slice until the tip was cut off with a knife/fork. Ceasar salad was too light on the dressing, almost indiscernable. Fried calamari very good. Lighting was too dim. Had to use our phone flashlight to read the menu otherwise it was a strain. I saw another person a few tables over do the same. Did not get dessert.
