Pels - St Ives

We were in St Ives for a day trip yesterday and I was desperate to have a crab sandwich. Since it was on the menu, we chose the place and it was great! My mum was with me and had a chicken and avocado with feta wrap and says it is the best food she has ever had. Beyond this, the service was swift and friendly. I was most impressed with the way staff were interacting with each other. It was extremely busy and having worked in catering myself, it could have been an extremely stressful environment. However, the staff continued to work hard and speak to each other with respect even when under pressure to get food prepared or when running out of ingredients. They truly worked as a team and that was wonderful to see.

Pels is one of the best restaurants in Saint Ives! I have had burgers, pizzas, chips, and paninis here and all of them have been of great quality and very tasty. The prices here are also decent for the area and compared to other food places in the vicinity. The staff here are polite and well mannered despite being very busy. You may have to wait for up to 20 minutes for your food but it is almost always definitely worth it!

I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast this morning with a fabulous view of the harbor. The customer service was excellent—everyone was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place!

The food was exceptional, as always. The chili and rice are the best I've ever had anywhere. For many years, hearing and pels has simply been the best.

The restaurant boasts a perfect location and excellent food, whether it's for lunch or dinner. Steve and his wife run a great establishment that consistently delivers delicious meals. The Mars Bar crêpe is a must-try for those with a sweet tooth, and the paninis are exceptional. The speck bratwurst with cranberry is also delightful. Their pizzas are wonderful; we often order two! We enjoy about 50% of our meals from this place whenever we visit because we love it so much. They also show care for our children, making it a fantastic option for families. We can't wait to come back next time!
