Things to know: Our server (can be the owner? spoke English so order was no problem at all. During our visit there were only two couples, so no reservation was necessary. We paid cash and I'm not sure if a credit card is possible. If I had to guess, I would say no. Most places, short hotels, in sleepy small towns take only cash. Try the Singha Beer, one of my favorites from Thailand: There is an English menu
This restaraunt is tucked away up a side street which must be why we were the only customers. It was clean, beautifully decorated (see Photos) and the service and food was excellent. It is well worth searching out and trying he food provided and cooked superbly.
Beautiful small Asian restaurant, hidden in a alley in front of the central street in St.Goar. Looks to take away, but the cellar is decorated as a restaurant with Airco to eat. Nice! Not too expensive for Germany and food will do. Cash payments are preferred, cards only if required and only involuntary... Opens 12 a.m. to 22 a.m. July seems to be the low season on the Rhine...
I had to write a review of Asia Kim because I was so sad to see that we were the only ones eating there on this particular night, and it was one of the best meals we had had in 4 weeks of travelling throughout Germany and Austria. Add to that that it was a fantastic value and such a welcome relief from typical Germanic food and bad ethnic eateries. We ordered one of the chicken dishes and one beef along with the vegatarian fried noodles and everything was very well prepared with lots of flavor. With a glass of wine and a large mineral water, the total was under €30.
Stopped in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. The food and service was amazing. This is a must for those with a desire for asian cuisine.
