Our stay in Cycads on Sea was great. We had the Giraffe room, a nice room that provided us with everything we needed. The name of the room was visible in a lot of aspects. Miniature Giraffes in sorts and sizes that gave the room a personal touch. Breakfast was served tailormade and was great. We only stayed for one night but we highly recommend Cycads on Sea.

Stunning town and equally awesome place. Richard and Dee make you feel comfortable with their warmth and hospitality. Pity that we could stay more than one night here. The rooms are extremely comfortable, well equipped and have a touch of home. The breakfast is amazing with a dash of humour. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Cycads. Rooms a very comfy, the breakfast is amazing, and Dee Richard are the best hosts. It is situated perfectly in St Francis, and there are a handful of restaurants, cafes, shops and sites on your doorstep- perfect location to explore the area. We will definitely return! Dee and Richard are incredibly good hosts. If you look for an experience with the most openhearted family: here you go! We loved our stay at Cycads on Sea it’s a very unique guesthouse with super clean and spacious rooms and the best breakfast makers (you‘ll feel like having the best breakfast on a weekend at home as Dee’s and Richard’s breakfast includes handpicked and homemade products and a super private surrounding where you simply have to feel comfy. From our perspective Cycads on Sea is highly recommended for families but we also met couples or single travellers there is enough space for everyone and every need. We stayed for 3 nights during our travels with our two boys (4 and 6 yrs and all of us loved the opportunities and games at the accommodation just as much as all the family friendly beaches and surroundings. If you are into sports ask Dee and Richard for some „lekker trails“ they know every corner around St. Francis. We‘ll definitely book again when returning to beautiful RSA.
