Skippy's Gyros - St. Charles

Food was decent. Atmosphere was that of a failed and repurposed Mexican joint. The Greek fries are a novelty but don't... The curly fries are much better. You'll be happy when you leave as long as you're expecting gyro joint food.

Best drive thru Greek chicken salad around. Always cold, fresh, crispy and love the salad dressing. Wish I knew what brand salad dressing they use

It was food. Didn't enjoy the beef/cheddar croissant, but I am sure other menu items are decent. Seasoned curly fries were edible. However, they were neither seasoned nor curly. Maybe I got my side mixed with someone else who requested the little pieces that are found in the bottom of the fries. The best part of this $19 meal was the raspberry Brisk.

Everything for our first visit was awesome. My friend is a gyro snob. She was very impressed. It wasn't greasy and cooked just right. The Athenian chicken is FAMTASTIC! Vegetarian options: Athenian is the way to go for veggie lovers. This place has it. Dietary restrictions: They understood my health condition with my stomach and allowed me to order small portions. I was FLOORED when she was totally okay with it. Kid-friendliness: I have kids aged 7-18 and they are going to LOVE the unique setup.

Swung through the drive-thru to grab a quick lunch. Ordered a simple Gyro and Frie. I was asked to pull up to the window and pay. The employee was nice but seemed like he wasn't too happy with his job. It took about 5 minutes to get my food. The food was hot and fresh and worth the wait. There was enough meat for 2 Gyros. It was a little messy to eat in the car, but was still delicious. Overall a very good place.
