Pheasant Run Resort - St. Charles

I was really sad to see it go up for auction. The main pool was my favorite; I have so many cherished childhood memories from visiting there. I also spent my honeymoon and wedding anniversary celebrating in that wonderful place. The rooms were spacious and had two floors, and they also offered charming retro-style rooms. The little shops were adorable, and the food there was absolutely fantastic.

My wife and I have stayed at this resort before, and we always have a wonderful experience! The staff is extremely friendly, and the resort offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. We are in our mid-sixties and often travel for business. If you're looking for a place where everything you need is easily accessible, this is the perfect spot! Relax and enjoy your time here!

I've visited twice for conferences. Some of the hotel rooms are a bit old. But well cleaned and functional. The catering for both events was excellent. Lovely food, and the buffet for the large crowd was well organized and everything was constantly restocked and fresh. The employees were always friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. All in all, I can recommend the Pheasant Run for conferences.

The staff was very nice and pleasant to talk to, and it is enjoyable walking Bourbon Street and seeing everything going on was fun. However the room was not worth the money spent. While the bed was comfortable and the view was great, there were stains on the sheets, the blanket looked to be pretty old. Wallpaper was peeling in certain places. The towels didn't smell clean, and the shower head was rusted all over and one of the handles was coming loose. The water gathered up over my ankles as I showered. For $200+ that I spent I was very disappointed in the quality of everything.

We had a fantastic experience at Pheasant Run Resort. After attending a wedding in the area, we stayed in the tall tower of rooms. Our accommodations were modern and impeccably clean. We enjoyed breakfast and took a tour of the property, and we found ourselves wishing for warmer weather so we could have spent more time golfing. The golf pro shop was impressive, and the staff were cheerful and eager to share information about the resort and its numerous amenities. On our next visit, we definitely plan to make time for the spa.
