Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

I never get tired of Swiss Chalet! Like a favorite childhood memory, I always make sure to visit when I'm in Canada. And of course, I always order the whole chicken.

I ordered the half chicken dinner and it was disappointing. The chicken was tough and the fries were overcooked and crispy. The coleslaw lacked dressing and tasted bland.

This restaurant is always my go-to favorite. I have been coming here since I was a child. I always order the quarter chicken with white meat and homemade fries, but I like to swap the BBQ sauce for the chalet sauce. It's a classic choice that I never get tired of.

We were in the area and decided to stop at Swiss Chalet for supper. My husband wanted to try the new crispy chicken. It was extremely busy, as it was Saturday night around 6 p.m. but we only waited about 5 mins. for our server. She took our drink order, and was back quickly with our drinks. I had the stir fry with chicken, and unfortunately they don't have soy sauce to add to the dish, but the server suggested a small dish of teriaki, which was ok, but I find it too sweet. Hubby really enjoyed his crispy chicken, and only ordered the 2 piece dinner with 2 sides, and ended up taking his second piece of chicken home. My stir fry was delicious, and I only had 1/2 and had to take the second 1/2 home!

Had a very unfortunate event at this restaurant and saw some of the what they call Management at their best.An Manager named Maria- spoke very rudely towards her staff during our dinning here!Please do not go to this Swiss Chalet if they treat their staff poorly, imagine how she treats others.Very poor Management!!!!
