Nanking Chinese Cuisine

My husband and I have been doing take out from Nanking for years! It's our absolute go-to place for Chinese food! Their wonton soup is the best I've ever had. I love their lemon chicken and their chicken-vegetable dish with almonds is fresh and delicious.We usually pick-up instead of opt for delivery because we get a bit of a discount if we do. I notice whenever I go to pick-up our orders, there's always people dining in the little dining room where the pick-up counter is.The food is good here and reasonably priced. Been here many times before and it is always good. Today had the combination number 5, Lemon Chicken, Chicken with Vegetable and Almonds, Chicken Fried Rice. The vegetables could not have been fresher and the rice was delicious. Unfortunately the chicken had a few tough parts, chewy. It was very crispy. Note that for $11.95 the portion here is big enough to feed two small to medium size appetites so it's a good deal.I like it, will go back and I recommend it.

After ordering a 90$ delivery order and waiting 90 min for delivery, they call to tell us delivery company is too busy. Not acceptable. Stick with Asian Legend.

Did not receive the specific request for hot mustard and extra soya/plum sauce, etc. Called as to why order not late, told very busy, sorry. Order time of m/c was 19.22 - did not match a scratched time of 7:55,,,,,Food...terrible, never saw black burnt to crisp egg rolls, really dry fried rice, and chicken balls dry inside and outside. Sorry for this review.Complained not worth our money. Not happy campers.Poor delivery guy got no tip and we explained why unhappy (late)..and to ask for his money from Nanking as their service and food lost him his tip...he understood....Did u know the delivery charge u pay goes to a delivery company and the driver gets nothing if you don't tip...they earn money on tips, not the delivery and gas. ???Anyway, do not recommend Nanking on martindale Rd. St. Catharines.Wait to see if they cancel our m/c charge.This was an order placed for delivery.

Waiting almost 2 hours for two items to be delivered only 2.7km away from the restaurant (we order delivery because we don't have a car). Tried calling for the last half an hour to find out how much longer it would take and their phone has been "busy" for 30 minutes straight... Save your money and order from a place where you can eat at a normal hour.
