Kim's Wooden Nicol - St. Catharines

Best chicken wings I've had! And right in my old hometown!

The bartender/server at this restaurant was very unhappy. I'm not sure if her name is Kim, but whoever she is, she never smiled. I inquired about the nachos due to my severe fish allergy, as I know that sometimes nachos are fried in the same oil as fish. Unfortunately, they were, and she did not offer any alternatives or accommodate my allergy. The worst part was her dog, who was sitting on the bar in a dog bed. Isn't that against health codes? We decided to leave after a couple of hours, despite having a bill of $300 and leaving a decent tip. We were the biggest spenders of the night, as I could see from the till while waiting for her to acknowledge me for over 3 minutes when I wanted to pay. We ended up going to Rombys across the corner and had a much better time. I would recommend avoiding this place.

Owner made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted, bar food over priced and dry, only one waitress for busy time and got the order wrong...twice! If you want to have your evening ruined this is the place for you.
