Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant

We visit the restaurant usually on Friday when going to St. Paul for groceries and always stop for lunch and we always are more than satisfied with the quality that we receive for our budget.Thank you for your hospitality and as we come from a major metropolitan area, we relish the opportunity to dine with the real routes of Alberta

When you enter this restaurant you are personally welcomed like a friend. The buffet is always hot and fresh. The chef is a true professional. Very good food and a very clean place. I highly recommend it.

I attended with a business group. Someone else organized this outing and selected this location, although it would not have been my first choice in local Chinese cuisine. This establishment is friendly and for the most part neat (likely the neatest Chinese restaurant in town.) It does however, lack the depth in choice as compared to other restaurants offering a buffet. The food is bit of single notes and really doesn't satisfy my preference of having lots of choices and variety of flavours. Locals do frequent this place as they always seem to be quite busy. Parking can be a bit of an issue at this location so be prepared to walk a block or so. although there is a restricted parking spot in front of the place for pickups or if you need to drop off passengers closer to the front of the entrance.

I'm working in St. Paul for a few days and took the advice of a local to check out Golden Gate Chinese. Since I'm traveling alone, I got my dinner to go. It was a generous portion and was still hot when I got back to my hotel! I got the bean sprout chow mein. It was very fresh and not at all greasy. I'd go back!

Lots of food to chose from if you take the buffet menu (which most people do) The food tasted good and was kept nice and hot for you.
