Italia Pizzeria - St Catharines

I've only been to this restaurant twice and got the cheese burger and fries. I loved it both times. I'm unsure how good the other menu items are, but hopefully, they're also good once I try it.The restaurant is a bit of a mystery to me. For whatever reason, it showed up as permanently closed when I've tried to search for it. It's changed now, but reading past reviews, I'm curious as to how things run in the kitchen and how it's changed or not. I'm assuming things were rough for them, especially with the pandemic. Being that I've liked their food so far, I'm willing to give benefit of the doubt.

I ordered food on December 1st for delivery and paid for it online. I did this through their own website but apparently then the deliveries go through door dash. I get notification that driver is on way to the restaurant, then they are on their way with my food. Well weird thing was the driver was driving and I could see he was at this address for a long time. So I call the driver number doesn’t work. Call the pizzeria both locations numbers don’t work. Finally I reach out on Facebook. At this point I’m thinking I got scammed. Someone on Facebook responded to my messages right away said they are closed and not sure how I was allowed to order. Said he would issue refund. I said please send proof which he sent a photo to my email stating pending refund. I have tried to reach out on Facebook but now the messages don’t go through. I have sent an email no reply. Please DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Scammers!

The food was distguisting. Ordered nachos that I paid 5 dollars extra for meat. No meat. The nachos came to over 20 bucks and got small portion of burnt nachos with cold hard cheese.The sub was supposed to come with extra cheese. But all we got was a soggy mess with no cheese at all.Had to throw it out. Both items were not enjoyable in the least....

Worse than the niagara location should have took a picture of pizza and salad couldn't even eat the salad was nothing on it and used iceberg instead of romaine lettuce for a cesar, is a joke.

Absolute scam. Goes by “two guys” on Uber. Uber report didn’t work. It’s disgusting how long they have been able to run this scam
