Smokin D's Bbq - St Augustine

This BBQ restaurant is located on US1, south of St. Augustine. You can order at the walk-up window and receive expertly prepared barbecue. Each meal comes with sides, and I particularly suggest trying the potato salad, although it tends to run out quickly! Everything is made on site. My husband enjoys the smoked turkey, while I prefer the ribs and chopped pork. The atmosphere is charming, but there is no seating available.

This BBQ restaurant is excellent, with a great smokey flavor. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, with quirky signs and a lot of attitude throughout the shack. While there is no seating available, the food is designed to be taken to-go. We tried the beach buckets, which consisted of rice, beans, and smoked pork. The pork was so flavorful that it didn't even need any sauce. The prices are good for the high quality of the food. Vegetarians should be aware that despite a sign on the freeway claiming to be a vegetarian recovery center, this is not a place for vegetarian options. Overall, this BBQ shack is top-notch.

We love the food and people at Smokin' D's. Everything we have tried is excellent. The sauces are superb. Try to arrive early for the best selection, but if they are open just try anything available.

Had Pork and Chicken, both very good. Will try the ribs next time. Atmosphere is like a roadside stand with some rustic seating (logs) which we enjoyed.

Delicious ribs and pork bowls. Lots of meat on the bone! A bit greasy. That’s ribs though. Meat was moist! Potato salad yellow rice and beans were my favorite. Would buy again!
